The Tomorrow Fund
Sharing the Vision
The United Way of the Greater Dayton Area has a long and successful history of leadership in improving our community through health and human services. We have built an impressive track record of bringing people together to meet the most pressing challenges our community has faced. Through the annual campaign, the
promotion of volunteerism, and collaboration efforts, our local United Way has provided an efficient and effective way to support the less fortunate in our community.
United Way has established an endowment fund to sustain our mission in the future. The United Way Tomorrow Fund is a special fund, separate from the annual campaign, that will provide additional support for creating solutions for local needs today and in years to come. With your support, United Way will be positioned strongly to confront the problems of the future in Montgomery, Greene and Preble counties.
Where Does the Money Go?
A gift to the United Way Tomorrow Fund can respond to a range of future community needs or can reflect a donor's special interests. Through unrestricted gifts, United Way will be able to support programs to meet future health and social service needs, needs we may not be able to envision today. All gifts to the endowment will be invested and only a portion of the income will be spent, ensuring that the gift will grow in perpetuity. The income will be invested in our community, assuring that it will always help where it is needed most.
The United Way will work closely with you and your advisors to ensure that your gift has the maximum impact in the community and fulfills your desire to leave a legacy in our community.
