United Live Takes the Stage to Support our Community

 

Close to 2,000 fans of the Beatles and classic rock, along with local Parrotheads, are coming together for a unique night of music to support our community through the United Way .

 

Tribute band Ticket to Ride, along with Key West and Reynolds Pit Cru, will perform at United Live on Thursday, September 1 st at 8:00 p.m. at the Fraze Pavilion. Tickets are only $5 each and can be purchased at the event.

 

Ann Stevens, host of WTUE's Breakfast with the Beatles, will serve as emcee for United Live, and will be joined by special guests Marilou Smith, Mayor of Kettering; Gary Auman, Director, Dunlevey, Mahan and Furry, and 2005 Campaign Chair for United Way of the Greater Dayton Area; Jim McGrane, Vice President/Chief Information Officer, MeadWestvaco and New Resource Development Strategy Chair for United Way; John North, President, Unified Health Solutions; Jill Pohl, Volunteer Coordinator, United Rehabilitation Services; and United Way President Marc Levy.

 

"I believe that as members of this community, we all have a responsibility to take care of each other and support those who don't have a personal safety net," said Gary W. Auman, Director, Dunlevey, Mahan and Furry, and 2005 Campaign Chair for United Way of the Greater Dayton Area. "Our community is stronger because of United Way and events such as United Live help raise awareness about local needs.”
