State of Ohio
The Legislative Service Commission provides technical and research services to members of the General Assembly. Staff research and draft legislation, analyze each bill, and provide members with detailed state revenue and expenditure estimates, draft appropriations bills and amendments, prepare analyses of appropriations bills that the General Assembly is considering, and codify administrative rules adopted by state agencies.
This website, a part of the Ohio Department of Development site, is an excellent source of statistical information. Links open to the 2000 Census Data, Ohio County Profiles, Population Studies, Economy and Industry Reports, and Maps.
Betty Montgomery operates the Attorney General's Office through an Executive Staff that oversees the activities of an administrative, policy, and public affairs section, as well as more than 25 legal and law enforcement sections.
