The Big Hand

Over 3 million volunteers nationwide celebrated Make a Difference Day as a day of community service on Saturday, October 22, 2005!  A national day of volunteering, Ohio has led the nation in the number of total volunteer projects completed since 2000.  More than 830 projects were completed statewide in 2005. 

United Way's Volunteer Connection will coordinate volunteer projects for Make a Difference Day 2006.  This event, known as The Big Hand, will sponsor volunteer projects on both October 27th and 28th.
