Dayton United Way Staff to Help in Ottawa
Dayton, OH, August 31, 2007 - Nicolette Winner, Community Volunteer Liason for United Way of the Greater Dayton Area's Volunteer Connection, will travel to Ottawa, Ohio this weekend to provide much needed relief to the northeastern Ohio staff manning the Volunteer Reception Center. Winner currently resides in Troy but grew up in the region damaged by the flood, so her knowledge of the area will be helpful. The Volunteer Reception Centers in Ottawa and Findlay, Ohio are coordinating the efforts and literally placing hundreds of volunteers daily to assist at emergency shelters and begin the long cleanup process.
