Building Renovation

Clothing Donation Sorting

Staff tables in different locations throughout Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Offer beverages and snacks to guests visiting table and assist them in registering to become organ donors. Volunteers must have base access already. Wear volunteer T-shirts provided by United Way, khakis or nice jeans and closed toe shoes for this project. Box lunches from Panera bread will be provided including sandwich, chips or fruit and drinks.

Sprucing Up the Children's Center

Stain wooden fence. Clean gutters.  Clear parking lot fence line of weeds, etc. Landscape in front of building. Weed and mulch by fence. If it's raining, refurbish and repair trikes and scooters. Sort books and return them to library shelves. Wear older, comfortable clothing that may get dirty or ruined by paint. Closed toe shoes and long jeans are required. Clothing should not display references to drugs, alcohol or religious beliefs. Box lunches form a local deli and a variety of drinks will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to bring additional weed eaters for this project if possible.

Assembling Adult Swing-Set

Dining Room Deluxe

Indoor Painting

Indoor Painting and Reorganizing

Project Clean-up

Scrub a Dub-Dub

Wash and clean interiors of vans used to collect 100,000 pints of blood each year.  If raining, volunteers will do filing or cut out quilt squares.  Dress to get wet, or at least damp.  Must wear shoes with rubber soles to avoid slipping. Soft drinks, water, coffee, snacks, pizza and salads will be provided.

Summer Service Preparations

Technology and Parents

Community Day of Action for Seniors

Fairgrounds Perimeter Fence and Landscape Enhancement
